About
Parkle is here because I believe buildings tailored to human form and capabilities are most likely to reveal the excellence that nature baked into us.
A visitor told me, unprompted: “this is for how I want to feel”. Another was in for only a few minutes before they said "I feel so safe in here I would tell you anything right now."
I’ve had some good responses to projects before, but nothing so deeply empowering, so I’ve been developing variations on these ever since. A working prototype is now deployed at a major biotech campus. The next version is now moving toward its first true production build.
I've spent 25 years in architecture in San Francisco, working primarily in workplace, but also hospitality and residential, while also crafting a lot of furniture-scaled work. My focus on improving human outcomes through architecture and furniture design has been recognized with awards from the AIA, USGBC, Inc. Magazine, Workplace Design Magazine, and BKLYN Designs. My articles on design and workplace culture have also been featured in Quartz Magazine.
If giving people places where they feel extra-capable is of interest to you, let’s talk.
